it's been 9 months since i last updated? dang. well i decided im not gonna let xanga die (dunno why) and i find it easier to blog on than everything else so... im back! today was intense. well wait. lets catch up. ive been workin a lot more recently. commercials, movies, and tv shows and such (hardly ever see my face =P). i've been working on a korean movie called 'Sunny' starring Park Su Ae. i'm the assistant coordinator/ translator. sometimes im required to play a role too. today i was a soldier and i had to run through this little shack which was gonna be blown up the second i stepped out of it. you all can see where this was going i bet. well the canon used for the explosion was an air canon so no flames or anything. just dust, dirt, and chunks of soft junk that explode out of it. well when they yelled action i was running through the shack but guess what; didn't make it =P. i was one step in front of the canon when it exploded right between my legs. i felt i had to blog about this because i can now say i know what its like to be blown up. seriously. if that was flames id be dead. but even so this air canon hits you with a ton of force. it felt pretty weird... like getting kicked or punched by an ogre or a giant. all that crap shot straight into my face, mouth, eyes. totally dazed. didnt knock me out but yeah, i can imagine the feeling of a real explosion now. it would be over pretty quick. probably wouldnt feel much of anything. the best part; it was caught on video! the worst part; the video got deleted! DAMMIT!!!! there was a secondary camera lookin straight at me so hopefully that makes it into the movie. PLEASE!!! this movie has been great tho. even tho its hotter than hell here its been great working with the korean stunt team - Triple-A (All About Action). the boss is the stunt double for Jackie Chan! a few members were taught by Kim Won Jin! theyre all awesome. know there stuff and taught me a bunch. hope to work with them soon. Korea here I come. oh the bad thing about this movie is i think ive inhaled enough smoke and dust from the set/ stuntmen/ fires that i can safely say i will be diagnosed with lung cancer soon. SWEET! photos soon. if anything check my facebook. if you can't then add me as a friend. update again soon! |
